             The faculty and members of the surrounding community believe that:

  • All students can improve academic performance when challenged by high expectations based on middle school standards and NCLB criteria.

 

  • Parents, teachers, administrators, and students are collectively responsible for creating a positive learning environment.

 

  • An engaging, well-organized, comfortable, and safe environment promotes student learning.

 

  • Student achievement is enhanced when there is open and meaningful communication between student, parent, teacher, and administrator on a a consistent basis.

 

  • Instructional strategies and assessments should be representative of the multiple learning styles found in the classroom.

 

  • Learning is enhanced when teachers interact in a united, respectful, and professional manner about policies and procedures related to education.
