Title 1 Information

Two Rivers Middle is now a Title 1 school.  Based on the percentage of our student body receiving free and reduced lunch, we will receive Title 1 funds this year.  Each Title 1 school has the option of using Title 1 resources and funds for the entire school body (called the schoolwide program) or for limiting these resources and funds just for those students who qualified the school for Title 1 (called the Targeted Program.)  Two Rivers Middle has chosen the Schoolwide program.  We have always striven to provide effective and targeted instruction for all of our students.  We would not want to deny any of our students every resource available to insure their success.

Parental involvement with our instructional program and Title 1 decisions are essential to our program.   Planned activities, surveys, and PTSO meetings will be forthcoming during the school year.  Please be sure to attend meetings and review all documentation that comes home, so that you will be able to take part with school staff in planning and implementing your child's instructional program. Individually, please feel free to contact the school at anytime to set up a meeting, or discuss a concern or idea.  An important Two Rivers belief is that it takes parents and school working together to provide the best academic opportunity for our students.

Be sure to check out our Parental Involvment link to the left for opportunities to become involved.
